4 quality signings will do in the right positions.
We do not need anymore, we have seen what buying too many has done this year.

We probably need three forwards unless we're going to persevere with our collection of crocked cunts nicking a living. Four signings ain't enough unless they're top drawer, which they won't be.
Fuck off.

I don't post on here much anymore but felt compelled to here. We have become so fickle and bitchy as football fans. West Ham, have at best, had a history of finishing mid-table and yet people think after one season of good signings and overachievement, we should be knocking on the door of the Champions League consistently. I think Bilic has done well so far given the budget he's had and again, we hired him from a B level league where he was successful but hardly revolutionising the game. He needs patience from us and the board and all of our support. I'm not saying I don't want the club to progress, or denying that some of the transfer decisions weren't abysmal this year but that's happened every year. I was happy where we finished the season given the start we had and hope we can progress next year. Let's get behind Bilic and not give the board any excuse to skimp on transfer budgets because of 'uncertainty of future management', especially given that he only has a year to run.

Excellent post mate.
The miserable ones, the gross pessimists and the nay sayers may well be advised to read the previous post and to reacquaint themselves with some excellent facts about Bilic.
I am well pleased Slaven will be our manager next season.

Maybe it is because of the previous season, people were hoping that we would be able to use that as a platform to become a consistent performer at that level.
We had more money in the transfer window than usual, another spot in the Europa league, and a team that had just finished 7th. We had two crocked forwards and were leaking comedy goals by the end of the previous season. The positions to strengthen were pretty obvious, the Club even made statements about getting a high profile goalscorer, being one of them.
West Ham don't get those circumstances happen too often. We failed in almost every aspect, the whole season was over inside two months, at least 3 signings were staggeringly bad, then we made 2 more in January and lost the first world class player in ages after only 18 months.

Need 4 signings for the first 11

6 or 7 new aditions minimum for me

I don't think anyone is expecting champions league or even Europe but the deal was move from our home to have a chance of success. The owners aren't following through with the necessary ambition in their recruitment of players and especially not with their choice of manager. 11th place really is so much better than we deserved this season, we were shit pretty much every game bar a handful.

So far under Bilic we've had a chance at the CL one year out of two. That probably meets the criteria for success.

We have a chance of champions league every season. Just an extremely slim one. We probably should have got 4th last season until the idiots tried to turn Antonio into a right back. I don't call that success. You are easily pleased surface.

Every year its the same old bollocks of false promises that fail to materialise all made in a cynical attempt to manipulate season ticket sales.

I don't know about the promised 'star' signings coming to fruition but I am pleased that SB will be the manager next season.
